The Western Regional Health Authority, a statutory body under the Ministry of Health with responsibility for the management and operation of Public Health Services within the parishes of St. James, Hanover, Trelawny, & Westmoreland invites applications from qualified professionals for the following positions below: Location: Cornwall Regional Hospital

Positions

• Registered Nurse (RN1)
• Consultant, Accident & Emergency - HPC/MO 4
• Medical Officers (Junior Residents) - HPC/MO 1
• Medical Officers (Residents) - HPC/MO 2
• Microbiologist - HPC/MO4

 

Requirements

Nurse

• Certificate in Midwifery from an accredited institution (RN1 only)
• Current registration with the Nursing Council of Jamaica (RN1 only)

Doctors

• Graduation from an accredited medical school
• Registration with the Medical Council of Jamaica
• Current Practicing Certificate
• Five (5) years relevant post-registration experience (HPC/MO2 & HPC/MO4 only)
• Postgraduate degree in relevant medical specialty (HPC/MO4 only)
